Horseriding Show at Buffelsbosch

Megan Gibbs, a Grade 3 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, took part in a Horse-riding Show at Buffelsbosch Equestrian Estate. She jumped 30cm and 40cm on her pony named Pixie and achieved a clear round and a First Place Rosette.

 

KZN Baseball Selection

Jack Jennings, a Grade Three pupil at Laddsworth Primary School has been selected to play for the KwaZulu-Natal Baseball team. He will play in the Inter-Provincial Baseball Tournament in Port Elizabeth in March this year.

SALGA Games

Laddsworth pupils, Caleb Cotton, Grade 7 and Reuben Macfarlane, Grade 6, played tennis at the SALGA KZN DSR Games from 7 to 9 December 2018 in Pietermaritzburg.

Reuben and his partner came second and received a Silver medal in the Under 11 age group and Caleb Cotton and his partner came third and received a Bronze medal in the Under 12 age category.

 

Back to School Tennis Tournament 2019

Laddworth sisters Tessa and Jodi Moreno took part in the CF Tennis ‘Back to School’ Tennis Tournament from 12 to 13 January 2018 at the Hilton Tennis Club in Hilton. The tournament was played in the Hopman format. Tessa Moreno came first in the Under 10 mixed doubles category and Jodi Moreno came third in the Under 12 mixed doubles category.

 

First day of School 2019

Laddsworth Primary School welcomed the Grade Ones of 2019 on Wednesday 9 January 2019. The pupils were very excited about starting ‘big school’. Laddsworth is growing its family by adding an additional Grade One Class this year.

 

Nicholas dominates at KZN Swimming Champs in December

Nicholas Kruger, a Grade 7 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, participated in the KZNA Speedo Provincial Champs at Kingspark, in Durban from 16-20 December 2018. He swam in the under 12 Age category and achieved 6 Gold Medals for 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke and 200m Individual Medley. He received 3 Silver Medals for 50m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly, 50m Breaststroke.
