Learner Support

Laddsworth has a Learner Support Department which assists learners, who experience academic challenges. Mrs Blume and Mrs Pullin provide learners with the opportunity to attend learner support sessions in an environment where their individual requirements can be met and where learning can take place according to their specific needs. Through attending these sessions, pupils gain the relevant skills to cope better in the classroom situation and develop a healthy self-esteem.

Mrs Blume is the Head of the Learner Support Department and Learner Support Teacher for Grade 1 to 4. She teaches Grade 1 to 3 during school time and Grade 4 learner support takes place after school.

Mrs Pullin is the Learner Support Teacher for Grade 5 to 7 and teaches learners after school also. All of these sessions take place in small groups.
